Prashant Samlal is a Dutch guitarist and composer based in Amsterdam. In his music Prashant seeks to push musical boundaries to create a personal blend of composition, jazz improvisation and soundscapes. His music is inspired by modern jazz heroes, rock, classical music and different forms of art.

“Music is a language that everyone speaks, it transcends words” Prashant says. For Prashant music is a big part of his life and identity. He has met a lot of people that are very important and inspirational to him. He perceives music as an incredible art form and a big social aspect.
